The role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager of Unibet Australia, the Social Media Executive will assist in planning, developing, executing, and optimizing paid and organic social media campaigns. This role offers operational support to the broader marketing, content, and promotional strategies specific to the Unibet brand in Australia.

Responsibilities include producing and delivering static posts/ads and short-form videos.

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and video editing is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sports or racing and a demonstrated ability to engage effectively on social media, showing meticulous attention to detail and a robust work ethic.

What you will do

  • Day-to-day management of the brand's social media channels and communities, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and X.

  • Social media content creation to drive engagement with fans/followers.

  • Live coverage of key sports and racing events that adhere to Unibet's brand position and tone of voice.

  • Delivery and support of social media strategy and plans.

  • Monthly and quarterly reporting of social media performance.

  • Responding to customers' queries and questions; maintaining the highest level of customer service.

  • Be able to provide feedback/direction on content projects to the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing as part of the larger brand and content strategies.

Your experience

  • Basic Adobe Photoshop & Premier Pro image and video editing skills (image and video edits, as well as adding brand elements) are highly desirable.

  • Previous experience in social media, managing company or personal interest social media channels/accounts.

  • A strong interest in sports or racing is essential.

  • Proven track record of managing and engaging with customers across multiple social channels and communities.

  • Knowledge of paid social elements and KPIs and how they impact wider business objectives and KPIs.

  • Exposure to using social media professionally.

  • Being proactive, analytical, and eager to learn is highly desirable.

  • Personally active on social media.

  • Excellent comprehension of the English language and the vernacular used in sports related social media content.

  • Interpersonal and organisational skills will be essential to the role.
