The role

We're looking for a Senior Content Designer who can build simple, human and engaging experiences to join our fast-growing content design team here at Kindred Group!  

As a Senior Content Designer will work closely with Content designers, Product designers, the UX team and business stakeholders to ensure outcomes are insight driven, well explored and have been fully considered in line with the design process.

What you will do

  • Strong product thinking, writing, and design skills demonstrated through a portfolio.
  • Experience in leading content projects and contributing individually.
  • Exemplary English writing skills focused on readability.
  • Significant experience in content design, including content guides, standards, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrable understanding of design iteration, problem-solving, and content hierarchy.
  • Proven ability to use content to enhance product experiences.
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of working with and influencing others.
  • Develop hypotheses around design decisions and adapt based on user feedback.
  • Ability to present the rationale for design decisions and influence stakeholders.
  • Understanding and application of UX best practices and accessibility guidelines.
  • Proficiency in collaborative UX tools like Figma and Miro.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic environments managing multiple workstreams.

Your experience

  • Design, simplify and deliver content to make evolving regulatory requirements clear and compliant.
  • Collaborating with product managers, researchers, and designers to develop user-centred solutions.
  • Iterate product content based on user research findings and feedback.
  • Work with stakeholders and development teams on localisation and translations and improving these processes.
  • Promote human-centred design principles, focusing on readability and creativity.
  • Maintain a focus on business priorities while simplifying complex user interactions into seamless experiences.
  • Ensure content coherence across all user experience touchpoints.
  • Contribute to the content and UX community through critiques, skill sharing, and advocating for content design.
  • Act as a mentor and collaborator, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Contribute to the content library initiative to develop reusable content components.
