Copenhagen office

Our Copenhagen office location is about as central as you can get. Located on a pretty pedestrianised street just three minutes’ walk from Nørreport S-train, bus and underground station, it’s easy to get in to work and enjoy the city life. Lunchtime or after-work shopping sprees are entirely possible as we are within a stone’s throw of Copenhagen’s chic shops, bars, restaurants, cafes and clubs. During the summer, some of us like to take a bike ride to the river in just 10 minutes.

We are a growing team - currently a dozen of us - dedicated primarily to marketing activities. We work from a modern, bright and spacious office on the second floor and we get some awesome views across the city. Kindred Denmark’s office is well-equipped with all the latest, including – perhaps most importantly – a big, beautiful Nespresso coffee machine and a FIFA Room studio! We also have two good-sized meeting rooms, complete with smart, designer tables and chairs.

Despite being a relatively small team, we still manage to enjoy some of Kindred’s social customs, like Friday breakfast which we have together at 9am. We almost always eat lunch together too, and sometimes enjoy a “rugbrødsklubben”, a traditional rye bread lunch which we shop for locally. We are also particularly good at sharing cake together in the afternoon! As for other activities, the whole office recently signed up for a run in Copenhagen and we always look forward to a fantastic Christmas party each year.

Location and lifestyle in Copenhagen

Copenhagen is positively packed with great experiences. Once you’ve taken in the colourful facades on the busy waterfront at Nyhavn and the Little Mermaid on Langelinje Pier, you might like to walk or pedal your way through Copenhagen – bicycles outnumber cars by five to one and cycle lanes make it quick and fun to navigate the city.

If bicycles aren’t your thing, getting around is easy via the city’s metro which runs every day, 24 hours a day, connecting 22 stations and running non-stop to Copenhagen Airport, again around the clock.

Foodies won’t be disappointed: Head for the Meatpacking District with its myriad of bustling bars and restaurants. Copenhagen offers several Michelin-starred restaurants, ideal for that extra-special meal out. Vegetarians and vegans are also spoilt for great restaurants dotted across the city.

Three miles south of the centre is one of Denmark’s finest stretches of sandy beach: Amager Strandpark’s vast sands border a sheltered lagoon, backed by gentle dunes. It is popular year-round with cyclists, roller-bladers, amblers and sunbathers alike.
