 The Role 

We're looking for a Senior Content Designer who can build simple, human and engaging experiences to join our fast-growing content design team here at Kindred Group!   
As a Senior Content Designer will work closely with Content designers, Product designers, the UX team and business stakeholders to ensure our experiences are human, simple and effective.

Kindred group is home to 9 of Europe's most successful online gambling brands (you will probably have heard of Unibet and 32 Red). You'll be working across our international brands, shaping experiences that make a difference to the lives of millions of sports betting, casino and bingo players.

What you'll be doing 
 

  • Guiding and mentoring your fellow content designers in their content activities (such as running crits, workshops and collaborative design practices). 
  • Making the content across our 9 brands and products easier to use and more engaging for the customer. 
  • Contributing to the creation of the Content Design teams tools, processes and ways of working.
  • Working with Product Designers to improve user journeys, create frictionless microcopy that inspires action. 
  • Actively advocate content design on design projects, making sure end-to-end journeys meet user needs and business objectives. 
  • Using research techniques, to quickly identify what's working in our journeys and opportunities to improve them. 
  • Engaging with stakeholders to understand business needs and bring them on board while advocating the value of user-centred design. 
  • You'll also write, edit, test and improve existing content across our brands

  

We are looking for people who

  • Are experienced at presenting the rationale for design decisions and influencing stakeholders. 
  • Have an in-depth understanding and application of UX best-practice & accessibility guidelines​. 
  • Worked with Design Systems, Style guides and Brand guidelines​. 
  • Experience working with and running user research​. 
  • ​Have experience of running Content crits and content workshops. 
  • Demonstrated strong content research skill (such as empathy mapping) ​to understand user need. 
  • Have a human centred and inclusive approach to content creation. 
  • Can build a hypothesis, change course, and adapt your approach because of user feedback.   
  • Can advocate of data-driven design and be able to explain how data informs your design.  
  • Enjoy building relationships with and can influence senior stakeholders. 
  • Are comfortable giving and receiving feedback on designs to reach the best solution that balances user and business needs. 
  • Have an open and friendly approach to working with others. As a strong collaborator, you'll work closely and build relationships with other designers, researchers, developers and product owners.
