Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vulnerability assessments and ensure comprehensive coverage and accuracy of scans across the organisation's infrastructure.
  • Analyse scan results to identify security weaknesses, misconfigurations, and potential threats.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prioritise vulnerabilities based on risk severity and potential impact on the organisation.
  • Monitor security alerts and advisories from various sources to stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Stay up to date with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance the organization's vulnerability management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirements related to vulnerability management processes and reporting.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in vulnerability management, security assessments, or related information security roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exposure (CVE) databases, vulnerability scanning tools like Tenable, and frameworks like CIS, DISA STIG.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and prioritize security risks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with PCI-DSS is preferred.
