The Role


The Treasury Manager will support the Group Head of Financial Control in both the operational day to day activities of a centralised treasury department and in delivering projects within treasury and across the wider finance function. You will help to build and lead the treasury function with the aim of strengthening operational finance. Your main responsibilities will be:


Cash Flow Management

  • Management of the daily cash flow, the Group's cash and liquidity requirements with execution and/or authorisation of currency trades and payments
  • Daily and monthly cash reporting
  • Liaise with the reconciliation teams to ensure coverage for customer withdrawals
  • Short term cash flow forecasting


Bank Account Management

  • Opening and closing accounts according to the company policy (Liaising with the Head of Corporate Development on new bank relationships)
  • Manage account signatories and KYC
  • Maintain documents relating to banking including bank mandates, keeping the Master Banking Spreadsheet updated in a real time manner ensuring completeness of all active bank accounts



  • Build a hedging strategy to cover loan repayments and manage other FX risk



  • Implement treasury controls and treasury best practice
  • Analyse and understand Working Capital movement
  • Manage Overnight investments of any surplus cash
  • Management of bank guarantees – liaising with internal counterparties and banks: issue, extension and cancellation
  • Supporting Group M&A with bank due diligence
  • Implementation of Treasury Management System


About you


  • 7+ years experience in finance with solid treasury background
  • ACT qualification preferable
  • Experience in a multi-currency and multi-entity organisation
  • People management experience
  • Data modelling skills/Advanced excel skills
  • Great communication skills, able to interact at all levels of the organisation
  • Business acumen, result driven and confident to propose and implement process improvements across the function
  • Self-Starter, outgoing, looking to excel and make a difference
  • Proactive and responsible attitude to workload with ability to work autonomously when required
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical skills
