Tech GRC Specialist

 

 

The role

 

You will be part of the Tech GRC team working with Governance, Risk and Compliance as well supporting the key Technical deliveries for the Kindred global tech platform in this area. You will be responsible for
proactively ensuring that the Tech organization complies with various rules and regulations and effectively manages business risks.

We are looking for a person with a great grasp of both technical organization with a lean approach, and also compliance, preferably within the gambling industry. You will be eager to take ownership of and develop our ways of working in a lean approach.

What you will do

 

  • Support the Tech org to develop & implement proper compliance controls.
  • Manage the Tech parts of Regulatory & Statutory Audits i.e. report & follow up on findings, keep up to
    date
  • Ensure Tech Process to be kept up to date, relevant & communicated across organization
  • Ensure compliance to Tech Process across organization & that this is evidenced for audit purposes
  • Identify business risks and provide preventive solutions to management
  • Help build a constructive organization culture focusing on risk awareness, giving training to management and employees on governance, risk management and compliances issues. (The primary
    responsibility of managing risks is with the business teams.)
  • You will be embracing, supporting and promoting change and continuous improvement.
  • Your challenge is to take inspiration from modern ways of working such as DevOps and Continuous Delivery and adapt them to a gambling context with regulations from multiple jurisdictions and standards.

  • Regular performance reviews with your line manager

  • Compliance with all relevant trainings and other activities related to the role

 

Your experience

 

  • You have a problem solving mindset and are solution oriented
  • Understanding of Technical organizational structures and ways of working including development processes and Lean and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance is a plus, preferably in a Global organization.
  • Excellent social skills and the ability to build cross functional relationships
  • Ability to drive and coordinate multiple projects using a business mind-set, always driving for value for Kindred.
  • Strong leadership skills
