Talent Development Specialist (Leadership)

About the role


The Talent Development Specialist (Leadership) will be based in London. Currently home based but when safe to do so, a blend of home and office working with international travel as required. Working closely with the HRBPs to identify capability gaps, you will deliver high impact interventions to address identified needs across Kindred's global locations. You will oversee the Leadership Development Programmes – leveraging our external network to deliver a world class experience to our Kindred Leaders.


You will also work closely with the other Talent Development Specialists, Head of Talent Development and subject matter experts to embed our leadership capabilities into Kindred career paths. As a coach, you will work with Kindred's Leadership population to identify development needs, offer 121 support and be the primary contact for our network of external coaches.


What will you be doing?


  • Work closely with the HRBPs across your business area to identify learning needs
  • Oversee the Kindred Leadership Development programmes including: working with our external collaborators, managing the selection process, scheduling, stakeholder management, peer coaching, design, delivery, train the trainer & evaluation
  • Deliver coaching programmes using a blend of psychometrics & 360s to support our leadership population and identify development needs
  • Work closely with the other Talent Development Specialists to embed our leadership capabilities into Kindred's career paths
  • Ensure consistent delivery of scheduled courses for new hires, existing employees and management level employees in your business area
  • Empower internal subject matter experts to deliver training and learning initiatives such as one-off training events and building specialist Career Paths.
  • Support people managers when devising and delivering individual development plans
  • Work closely with the Head of Talent Development, Central TD Team and other Talent Development Specialists to contribute to the central Talent Development Strategy and create a consistent employee experience across Kindred
  • Support the Kindred Strategy through owning and delivering group wide projects
  • Support the Head of Talent Development sourcing, matching and evaluating Executive Coaching relationships


About you:


  • Qualified coach with proven success at coaching at Management and Leadership levels.
  • BPS qualified in Psychometrics
  • Proven success at building leadership development programmes in collaboration with external experts, coaches and managing the delivery and evaluation
  • Credible and committed to building trusting relationships with senior stakeholder population
  • Forward thinking and ambitious in building best in class solutions
  • Passionate about learning, developing others and yourself.
