Sportsbook Control & Compliance Manager

About the role

 

The Sportsbook Control & Compliance Manager will be responsible for building and developing a new governance framework both for day to day and as part of the long term strategic vision.  You will be responsible for owning, designing and delivering the processes within the Sportsbook team to ensure we have robust governance around control, compliance, quality assurance and meet all our regulatory requirements.

 

The role involves working closely across our local markets, external suppliers and internal teams.  We are looking for someone that has an excellent base knowledge of working within sportsbook from an operational perspective who is a quick learner, highly motivated and adapts quickly to the ever-changing Sportsbook landscape.

About you

 

  • Deep passion and understanding of sports and sports betting, you understand the logic of Sportsbetting and the operational challenges within a sportsbook.
  • Experience in a Sportsbook role or in a governance/operational role is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work cross departmentally, working with teams across multiple locations.
  • Solutions orientated with a positive mindset and hands-on approach to solve complex operational and process issues.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Organised, driven and forward thinking.
  • Able to balance day to day operations against longer term holistic strategy work.
