The Accelerate Program


Joining the Kindred graduate program means working on exciting and challenging projects with cutting edge technology and starting to build a network from day one.

From the very start of your first six months of the program you will work directly in your team with support from your mentor, as well as on exciting projects with your fellow graduates. You'll take part in several tailored learning modules designed to help you develop your skills, grow as a person, and build strong relationships. As a group of graduates, we'll ensure you work together, to share experiences and challenges from your journey in a safe and secure environment. This experience will prepare you well for a bright future within Kindred Group.


This is a 6 month fixed term contract with possibility to become permanent employment. Start date is 6th of September 2021. 


About the Role


As a Software Engineer at Kindred you will be a part of one of our agile Development teams (consisting of 6-10 team members). Joining one of these teams, you will not only be coding, but growing and developing as an Engineer by participating in design discussions with your colleagues to find great solutions to complex engineering challenges. Each Platform team's purpose is to create the best customer experience, continuously improving their products while keeping up with the latest technologies. We strongly believe in the “You Design it, You Build It, You Test It, You Run It, You Tweak It” ethos and everyone is expected to take part of the full system life cycle to ensure reliability and up-time of the production environment. We work in an Agile way with open communication, trust and compassion. Always striving to improve ourselves, to learn from others and we understand that knowledge is grown by sharing. 

You will be part of a team in the Be In Control Experience. This experience covers areas such as Player Safety, Responsible Gambling, Payment Fraud, Customer Verification, Compliance within the domain, Anti Money Laundering etc.


Your Profile


We are looking for passion and drive! If you also consider yourself a coding Ninja you will feel right at home here. We are not all geeky about the same thing, but we all feel passion about what we do.

To succeed in this role, you are eager to learn and have a drive that keeps you going even when faced with challenges. You are not afraid to test around and find things out on your own but also know that the key to success is to collaborate with others. In essence; you want to get things done and you are a great communicator.
