SEO Executive - Norwegian

Reporting to: SEO Lead Nordics


The role


As a search marketing specialist you will on a daily basis execute search engine strategies including optimising pages, production of new content and execution of outreach campaigns. The aim is to improve the visibility of multiple Kindred brands on Norway's search engines.


The candidate will be a key individual between the two teams, fully integrated with Norway's digital priorities but in cohesion working with the central SEO team strategy and methodology. The position also requires frequent travel.


This position requires a creative and self-motivated individual with the potential to learn and develop good technical and analytical skills. Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication is essential. The individual must also have a basic understanding of PR.


What you will do


  • Write optimized copy for all Kindred Norwegian brands
  • Working with Norwegian team on SEO best practices
  • Use a range of SEO tools to analyse performance of our websites
  • Perform regular SEO analysis to spot opportunities and required optimization.
  • Work on outreach strategies by establishing contact with journalists or publishers in Nordic territories who show a potential to publish our content
  • Developing warm relationships with these contacts
  • Manage and report on your own SEO projects
  • Remain up to date on the latest industry trends, guidelines and search algorithm updates
  • Work closely with the SEO Manager and local teams to target efficient deliverables


Your experience


  • Excellent Norwegian (both verbal and written)
  • Full professional proficiency in English language(both verbal and written)
  • Strong writing skills to produce engaging text in Norwegian
  • A strong interest in our industry – sports/gaming/betting is preferred


An advantage


  • Work on any CMS and Excel
  • Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Experience with writing online content
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
