The role

You'll be joining a team of UX professionals from varying backgrounds that work to create industry-leading experiences across all our channels. We in the UX department play a crucial role in driving a customer-first approach, where we strive to exceed our customer, regulator, and commercial expectations.
As a Senior UI Designer you will form a key part of a collaborative, cross-functional team that work closely with the wider Experience Office delivery teams with the aim to deliver customer centric, quality driven solutions to our users. More broadly you will also be helping to grow, establish and govern our internal multi brand design system across different experiences and channels.
What you will do
Create high-quality, visually engaging design solutions for new and existing Frontend Websites or Native Apps
Produce prototypes and define micro interactions to add the delight factor and enhance the overall user experience
Design centralised UI components and patterns that support wider delivery pieces
Push a multi-brand, design system mentality to the wider UX team and business
Document designs effectively so they are easily understandable both within the UX team and wider business stakeholders
Collaborate closely with UX specialists to solve digital problems, ensuring clarity of visual language, best practice application and brand alignment
Work closely with Developers to ensure designs are delivered on time, to specification and in line with stakeholder expectations
Apply a ‘test and learn' approach that puts the customer at the centre of our solutions
Present work to business stakeholders, clearly articulating rationale behind design decisions
Build strong working relationships with the wider UX team ensuring our cross functional skillsets are utilised as effectively as possible
Monitor and share knowledge on emerging technologies, trends within UX and the gambling industry
Contribute to the advancement and exposure of UX understanding within Kindred Group

Your experience
Expert in the knowledge of the user centred design process and principles
Strong knowledge of UX best-practice & accessibility guidelines
Expert in creation of cross channel digital design solutions
Experience working with Design Systems, Style guides and Brand guidelines
Delivered either multi-brand, multi-product or multi-channel experiences
Strong practical knowledge of UI & Prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Principle, etc.)
Documentation production for efficient development handoff
Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS, JS and CMS's
Worked with UX Researchers or directly applied user testing methodologies
Experience working directly with senior business stakeholders
A detailed understanding of business and commercial objectives
Worked with Agile methodologies
Excellent communication skills
Energetic and friendly, with an appetite to learn and educate
A team player who is comfortable working independently when needed
