The role

We're looking for a Product Designer who can build simple, human and engaging experiences to join our fast-growing Product design team here at Kindred Group! As a Product Designer you will form part of a Design team, working closely with a cross functional team consisting of Product Owners, Developers & business stakeholders. You will ensure outcomes are insight driven, well explored and have been fully considered in line with the design process. Kindred Group is home to 9 of Europe's most successful  online gambling brands (you will probably have heard of Unibet and 32 Red). You'll be working across our international brands, shaping experiences that make a difference to the lives of millions of sports betting, casino and bingo players.

What you will do

  • As a Senior Product Designer you will play a central role in developing a key area of the overall user experience. You will work closely, as part of a Design team, with wider UX disciplines, tech teams and business stakeholders to ensure outcomes are insight driven, well explored and have been fully considered in line with the UCD design framework.
  • Gather data, insights, technical constraints, business requirements, and market-specific regulator needs to make evidence-based decisions.
  • Use your experience and our multi-brand design system to deliver high quality user flows, concepts, prototypes, and carefully documented design solutions.
  • Contribute to defining visions and roadmaps which considers both user needs and business goals.
  • Collaborate with your design team and wider community to transform ideas into useful features and multi-channel experiences.
  • Work closely with other Product Designers, Content Designers, UX Researchers, Product Owners and Developers within our end-to-end UCD design framework.
  • Clearly present your outcomes, using story telling techniques, to different stakeholder groups.
  • Build strong relationships and trust, ensuring we get the best from both our team members and those we work closely with.

 

Your experience

  • Be a champion of a user-centric approach with an ability to design meaningful features and experiences.
  • Have proven experience in Product Design from a customer-centric area.
  • Craft easy to use, accessible, and modular designs that can scale to millions of users.
  • Ability to make pragmatic decisions whilst having the bigger picture in mind.
  • Provide and receive actionable feedback from UX experts, business stakeholders and developers.
  • Be a natural collaborator with diverse teams in a multi-faceted, complex and change prone environment.
  • Effective communication skills paired with great storytelling and the ability to explain the rationale behind your design decisions.
  • Expert knowledge of Figma (or Sketch / Adobe XD) and its core features such as auto-layout, component variants and libraries.
  • Help develop, guide and support more junior team members.
  • Deliver work to a high standard needing little or no guidance.
  • Be capable and confident of running ideation or design workshops.
