The Role:

 

The Senior JavaScript & PHP Software Engineer will be working with and supporting all the business units utilising the Oracle cloud service across all the Kindred locations. You have (or are able to quickly develop) an understanding of how Oracle Service Cloud serves the business as a whole, see that a holistic view of the customer and the need to stay both responsible and compliant as a business, is key. You will be responsible for automating the business processes using contextual workspaces, workflows, agent scripting and business rules. 

 

What you will do:

  • ✅Build custom functionalities in PHP & JavaScript on our global Oracle Service Cloud instances.
  • ✅Customize the Customer Portal through new widgets and brand design channels using HTML/CSS.
  • ✅Be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Oracle Service Cloud end-to-end.
  • ✅Design and implement Incident Queue reports, including the creation and implementation of SLAs for specific queues/profiles.
  • ✅Good knowledge of Workspace Design and creation of Workflows.
  • ✅Experience with the BUI Extensibility Framework (JavaScript) would be a big plus.
  • ✅Take investigation action on business requirements from the system users & stakeholders 
  • ✅Communicate with other stakeholders to render information from third party applications in the Incident workspace 
  • ✅Knowledge of the Oracle APIs would be advantageous. 
  • ✅Optimize the user journeys in OSC
  • ✅Administrate the integrated telephony system and support the development of IVR call flows and organization setup.   

 

Your experience:

  • ✅PHP and JavaScript coding experience.
  • ✅HTML/CSS.
  • ✅Ability to demonstrate your understanding of the BUI workspace and how this relates to the editor in the .NET console.
  • ✅Designing, creating and updating business rules and workspace rules.
  • ✅Ideally circa two - three years of Oracle Service Cloud system admin experience.
  • ✅Good overall tech background and ability to understand operational and technical elements of a business-like Kindred.
  • ✅Good communicator who can demonstrate the ability to talk to and understand the needs of stakeholders at different levels of the business.
  • ✅Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to seek challenges.
  • ✅Ability to work unsupervised, proactively looking for work during downtimes.
