The role of the Senior Finance Business Partner is to work with and support the most complex and higher risk areas of Kindred. Forecasting, reporting, analysis, business case review and other ad hoc projects will all be integral to the role. 


Your Responsibilities

  • Business partnering responsibility for highly complex/high risk/high profile areas of the Group.
  • Working relatively independently (i.e. with limited guidance required from within Finance).
  • KPI analysis and performance reporting and delivery to senior stakeholders, including executive level.
  • Input into Kindred strategy for relevant area - Produce accurate financial forecasts and highlight risks and opportunities. 
  • Represent Finance on high profile projects.
  • Proactively flag risks and opportunities and provide recommendations where applicable. 
  • Proactively deliver scenario analysis where relevant. 
  • Responsible for the most complex/high-impact analysis across the group such as ROI calculations and contract negotiation support. 
  • Coach more junior members of the team.
  • Support Lead Business Partner and other senior members of Business Finance with complex projects. 
  • Heavily involved in providing analysis and producing presentations that go to Board level with minimal, if any, review.
  • Attend recurring management meetings where relevant, and generally involved in decision making.        
  • Majority of role is analysis-based tasks and ad hoc projects with reporting/month end responsibility limited to overseeing process.



Your Experience/Skillset 

  • Certified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Strong ability to translate financial information and other data into a format that is easily interpreted by non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proactive stakeholder management and ability to influence. 
  • Displays excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Self-starter. 
  • Strong commercial acumen 
  • Ability to work independently with limited guidance and as part of a team 
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Good knowledge of Finance systems. Adaptive, Access and Qlik an advantage. 
  • Experience working in Commercial business partnering functions.
  • Some post-qualified experience. Either with prior FP&A experience, or experience working in practice or an accounting function. 
  • An excellent understanding of the Gambling industry and the challenges and opportunities that exist.
