Senior Creative Designer

 

 

The role

The main focus of the Senior Designer will be to create and produce inspired visual design solutions for campaigns and promotions across all media and brands within Kindred Group.

 

What you will do

Creative concepts

  • Producing inspired creative design solutions to marketing briefs across all our brands and markets
  • Taking briefs and working either as the lead creative on a project or with an Art Director in order to bring alive their vision for specific campaigns
  • When working as the lead creative, you will be responsible for producing creative design ideas and presenting them in a professional manner to key stakeholders
  • When working with an Art Director, you will be expected to work collaboratively with them to produce inspired visual interpretations of their creative concepts

Creative execution

  • High quality design craft skills and meticulous attention to detail to all assigned jobs
  • Producing highly finished visuals for use across all media including onsite, social media and video
  • Understanding and implementing stakeholder feedback
  • Working efficiently using the correct formats and processes
  • Delivering against the agreed timings and SLAs
  • Creating the master artwork with correctly formatted files for campaign creative assets for handover to production
  • Creating handover documents; working files in agreed formats and guidelines for correct asset usage across marketing collateral

Creative oversight and quality control

  • Quality checking and approving campaign assets created against your master creative
  • Supplying approved assets to the appropriate locations with correct tagging/naming conventions

General

  • Gain a good understanding of our products and demonstrate this by producing relevant, insight driven, inspired work
  • Gain a good understanding of our different brands and markets so that the work you produce is on brand, insightful and relevant

 

Your experience

  • You are an experienced senior graphic designer who can take ownership of projects from initial brief to final production
  • You have a portfolio of work demonstrating inspired design conceptual thinking for marketing communication campaigns and an understanding of communication hierarchy
  • You should demonstrate a clear understanding of how to interpret brand guidelines and push them to produce fresh, exciting and relevant design solutions
  • You should be comfortable presenting rough conceptual design ideas in the form of mood-boards and quick ‘mac scamps' to sell in your inspired ideas.
  • You should have outstanding design craft skills that you demonstrate with your expert ability in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.
  • You should be comfortable working in a high pressure environment with tight deadlines and still be able to produce design excellence
  • You should be efficient in your work style, comfortable following process and have an incredible eye for detail
  • Experience working with video production for TV and social media
  • Comfortable working on both your own ideas and under the direction of an Art Director (bringing their vision to life in the form of TV storyboards and campaign assets)
  • Bring creative inspiration through design excellence
  • Be able to give feedback and direction to artworkers executing against your design key visuals
