Senior Application Support Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and skilled support analyst to join our team in a fast-growing company. Your primary responsibility will be to support and maintain the Australian racing business. You will have the opportunity to use your debugging and analysis skills experience to assist the team in achieving company objectives. Your trouble shooting skills and the ability to work independently on set tasks will make you a strong candidate for this position.

 

Your key responsibilities:

 

  • Support existing Web and Mobile applications built on ReactJs, Graphql, Json and C# WebAPIs.
  • Monitor and manage the uptime of the production systems using Application monitoring tools.
  • Provide level2 support for all issues.
  • Work with Traders, Customer Service and Level3 team to resolve the incidents.
  • Guiding and mentoring a small team of App Support Analysts.
  • Working - Tuesday to Saturday. (8AM - 4PM)
  • Work location: Darwin.

 

The successful candidate will have the following skills: 

 

  • Extensive knowledge in Web Application support including monitoring principles and related metrics.
  • Proven experience in debugging and triaging Web Applications and Microservices.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with Json, Web API and relevant tools including Postman and Swagger.
  • Extensive knowledge in Client Server architecture, Networking Principles and Server stack.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with Application monitoring tools such as Splunk, PRTG and AppDynamics.
  • Proven experience in technical issue debugging, analysis and resolution.
  • Extensive knowledge in support principles including incident management, problem management and escalation management.
  • Wagering experience or financial services industry experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills are mandatory.
