Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze security events and alerts
  • Triage alerts and determine their severity and priority
  • Correlate and enrich alerts with threat intelligence and other contextual information
  • Respond to incidents and coordinate with other teams as necessary
  • Continuously improve the incident response process and playbooks by incorporating lessons learned and best practices
  • Participate in regular training and exercises to maintain and improve skills

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a SOC or similar security operations role
  • Strong understanding of the threat landscape and common attack vectors
  • Familiarity with common security tools and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Desirable: knowledge of Splunk and Microsoft Security tools
  • Desirable: Python development knowledge
