Product Owner Get Comms & Rewards Front End

The role

  Kindred Group is one of the world's largest online gambling businesses. The Online Gambling industry is a fast-paced industry and we're constantly exploring new technologies and services to be in the forefront in our complex and regulated industry. We're now looking for a skilled and experienced Product Owner for the Front End development of the Customer Communication & Rewards Experience, to accommodate the groups business needs and secure the delivery of the best user experience on the market. 

Our delivery organization consists of seven Customer Experiences and you will be supporting and working in the Get Comms & Rewards Experience. Your backlog is focused on the Customer Experience Front end/Back end for our brands and Backoffices supporting the experience. You will contribute to maximum agile flow of delivery, efficiency and productivity. 

As Product Owner within the Kindred group you are highly empowered, which means you will have control over your own work and are expected and encouraged to take on new tasks without someone managing you in detail. 

The successful candidate has great knowledge and experience as a product owner, leading development teams in demanding organizations and has a proven track record in delivering high quality solutions to customers and the business.

What you will do

Acting as a Tech Delivery expert and Leader 

  • Deploy agile development and delivery methods, ensuring that principles of human centered design thinking are embraced through the delivery process with the aim of delivering world class experiences and customer journeys. 
  • Liaise with Kindred business delivery teams and key business stakeholders to secure efficient management of two critical backlogs and handling of new business initiatives. 
  • Ensure maximum business value of scheduled work, define business and technical requirements, translates them into workable Epics and User Stories and ensure timely deliveries of the backlog items. 
  • Support the teams by participating in agile ceremonies like daily stand up, backlog grooming and planning. 
  • Provides full visibility and transparency on capacity planning for the backlogs and clearly communicates capacity and estimations to key stake holders. 
  • Improve work processes together with the teams to maximize throughput. 
  • Engage close communication with relevant stakeholders such as business owners, UX, Product Owners and tech teams on upcoming and ongoing business initiatives and release schedules, secure visibility of feature progress. 
  • Acts like a lead coordinator when needed, feels comfortable managing deliveries from start to end and drive development and project progress across multiple teams and backlogs. 

Acting as an Experience and Change Ambassador 

  • Work alongside the Experience Owner on executing one of Kindred's key experiences, across all brands and channels and contribute to create experiences that set industry standards for delighting customers, and contribute to maximum agile flow of delivery, efficiency and productivity. 
  • Manage the strategy, roadmap and delivery of their backlog of products
  • Support the strategic vision for the Kindred delivery engine by actively contributing to new ways of working and structuring your backlogs. 

Acting as a Customer Champion 

  • Own the customer data for the product, understand what is working and what needs to be improved. 
  • Uses all available customer understanding and analytics tools for product decisions purposes. 
  • Exhibits a “customer first” behavior, step into our customer shoes and constantly find improvements. 
  • Engages CX/UX teams with dilemmas and incorporates these teams in the weekly schedule and establish ways of working with these teams. 
  • Knows which items requires UX/CX input and which do not. 
  • Work closely with UX, Analytics, Insights teams in a data driven customer centric delivery model

Your experience

  • Previous work experience as a Product Owner of minimum 5 years
  • Experience from working front facing product multi-platform products is essential
  • Genuine passion for customer interaction and perception of used services 
  • Experience with leading the product vision and your team  
  • Have a data and evidence driven mind-set in decision making 
  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills 
  • Experience from working in the online gambling industry is an advantage 
  • Experience from working with CX and analytics tools 
  • Solid Experience with Agile development approach 
  • Must thrive in multi-tasking, quick moving, demanding environment 
  • Willingness to travel (post-covid)
