This is a key role within the data science group. The data science group is part of a larger analytics and data team that number over 70 people.
You will be required to supply leadership to the team with respect to cutting edge techniques and technologies, so you need a thorough understanding of the methodologies, as well as how to use them. You will also need to be an effective communicator and networker, able to influence and explain complex topics to business stakeholders. Ideally you will have experience delivering algorithms to optimize and drive customer behaviour in a real-time context. Experience in some of the following areas required: Personalisation and recommendations, churn prediction and/or other customer behavior models, contextualisation, KYC and AML, payment/transaction fraud detection, novel customer segmentation.
