PPC Team Lead

 

 

The role

 

As a PPC Team Lead you will be responsible for helping Kindred Group meet designated growth targets by setting and implementing a world-class PPC strategy. You will be leading, managing, and mentoring a team of specialists (direct reports) and work alongside great teams of experts within the Biddable Media team, to develop and identify cross-channel opportunities within the digital advertising space.

 

Extensive PPC knowledge, both holistic and hands-on, is essential, as you will be setting the PPC strategy for the Group but also recommend best-in-class optimization techniques to your team, to ensure that acquisition targets are met.

 

This role is perfect for a resilient PPC leader who would like to actively contribute to setting a successful digital marketing strategy and manage an in-house team of experts, without losing their hands-on approach to PPC optimization

 

What you will do

 

  • Setting PPC strategy for all Kindred markets and brands, including identifying opportunities for customer acquisition growth, presenting these to stakeholders and making sure PPC targets are met and strategy is implemented internally as per best practice;
  • Budgeting, forecasting and Identifying SEA targets for growth of acquisition, efficiency, visibility and traffic;
  • Leading, Managing, mentoring and training a team of specialists (direct reports) and reporting into the Head of Biddable Media;
  • Working closely with local teams to set strategy and targets by market;
  • Evaluating and implementing most suitable PPC optimisations, tracking platforms and acquisition tools as per best practice across Search, GDN and YouTube;
  • Ensuring best practices are adhered to with regards to SEM strategy, account structure, campaign setup and optimisation;
  • Work closely with the Marketing Intelligence team to leverage technology platforms, tools and web analytics to drive campaign efficiency and performance
  • Working closely with all our partners to make sure all latest innovations, betas and products are implemented across all accounts;
  • Keeping on top of the latest innovations in search marketing & testing these as appropriate;
  • Work closely with other Biddable Media channels, such as Programmatic and Paid Social advertising, to leverage channel synergies in a competitive landscape
  • Educate key stakeholders on PPC opportunities, best practices and important technologies

 

Your experience

 

  • Strong management skills and experience of building and growing teams
  • Three to six years' experience in PPC, ideally working in a Media Agency
  • Thorough understanding of analytics, media research, tracking and technical integrations
  • Proven experience in using a third party bid management tools;
  • Effective written communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of developments across the digital industry

  • Personal resilience and resourcefulness to support and deliver strategic changes in the face of organisational resistance;
  • Highly organised and diligent, with ability to support complex, multi-disciplinary delivery engagements;
  • Broad understanding of digital marketing activities;
  • Excellent communication skills, as you'll be responsible for both the PPC channel growth within the business, by effectively managing communication with local teams and stakeholders, and for your direct reports' professional growth, by directly mentoring them
  • Digital Marketing degree/qualification preferred
