The role

Kindred are looking for a People Systems Analyst with experience in Workday for a 12 month fixed term contract for a maternity cover. You will report to the HR/People Systems Lead. You will have core responsibilities around the configuration, design and development of Workday HCM in Partnership with the rest of the people systems team. You'll manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, whilst effectively managing prioritising assignments and working to strict deadlines.  You will support various implementations and improvements of projects across the modules and the globe. You should have attention to detail, and enjoy working with a distributed stakeholder group.

 

What you will do:

  • Function as an expert for Workday administration – People transactions, business process configuration and design, including advising the People Team, managers and employees in the proper use of the system.
  • Support with roll out of Workday Learning implementation.
  • Create business processes in Sandbox and liaise with stakeholders on creating business processes.
  • Knowledge of Workday LMS would be helpful 
  • Knowledge of Workday security and Workday reporting to a functional level.
  • Work with People Systems Lead to support the coordination and drive automation of People Systems and process improvement and identify areas of improvement to ensure we are using the system effectively and suggest further system changes and enhancements as appropriate.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to analyze business requirements and provide and support efficient solutions.
  • Work closely with functional areas (HR, Payroll, IT and Finance) and other stakeholders to test and implement efficient solutions.
  • Work with the People Systems team to manage the prioritization and execution of Workday fixes.
  • Assist in the review, testing, implementation, training and communication of Workday system changes and upgrades including the bi-annual Workday releases.
  • Participate in the Workday release cycle including (but not limited to) the following activities: Update functional process guides, training materials and user guides for end users. Support the change programme to ensure successful uptake of Workday by all users - facilitating solution design workshops where necessary.
  • Support all functional aspects of Workday modules and day to day management and maintenance of this.

  • Delivery to the company roadmap
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant trainings and other compliance activities related to the role to support the delivery for sustainable and responsible growth
  • Acting in line with Kindred's values at all times

Your experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of Workday experience in post go live environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Workday covering HCM, Benefits, Absence, Learning, Talent and Time Tracking
  • An inquisitive and challenging mind with an interest in questioning and improving the “as-is”
  • Ability to work under pressure and must have an understanding of HR functions.
