The role

Reporting into the Global People Partner, we are searching for a talented individual who will partner with our General Managers in the Commercial function, but will also be responsible for local compliance across some of our satellite locations.

As People Partner, you will be responsible for managing all HR services for France, Belgium, and Netherlands. In particular, you will manage recruitment (for France only), on-boarding and talent development activities, support the operational teams in all aspects of human resources. You will work continuously to improve our HR processes and ensure good collaboration between our local and global teams.



What You Will Do
 

  • Responsible for local compliance across France, Netherlands and Belgium. This includes contract and policy design, benefit reviews, payroll checks and being the main point of contact for any escalations from our People Services team. 
  • Partner with our General Managers in the Commercial function; ensuring to build strong relationships and to coach them on all employee related matters, ensuring guidance is best practice, consistent across departments and commercially focused.
  • Build strong relationships with the business and advise, coach, guide and assist line management on employee relations issues, ensuring guidance is best practice, consistent across departments and commercially focused.
  • Deliver the recruitment for the French Office and talent development activities, including adapting our existing in-house training content so its relevant to our Paris office.
  • Confidently advise managers on how to resolve employee relations issues, using up to date and strong knowledge of local employment legislation across your locations. Ability to advise on risk. 
  • Ensure these satellite locations are aligned to group in terms of policies and procedures but also ensuring these teams are supported and included in global engagement and wellbeing initiatives. 
  • Work with the Global People Partner on delivering all aspects of the HR Roadmap in the Commercial function. This includes but is not limited to; strategic workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, salary review and bonus processes (calibration) and employee engagement. 
  • Lead certain projects (assigned by the Global People Partner) and work with HR and Business stakeholders to successfully deliver the project. 
  • Ensure the smooth running of our CSE work council in France.


 Your Experience
 

  • Native/professional level French and English language skills
  • At least 5 years of experience working with senior management in the delivery of an excellent HR service.
  • You must be able to guide and drive the business in all HR aspects, ultimately being a champion for HR process and policies in our Paris, Antwerpen and Amsterdam office.
  • Comfortable working autonomously but equally happy asking for support when required.
  • Good knowledge of French employment law and translating this to HR policies and practice
  • Knowledge of Belgium and Netherlands employment law is a plus.
  • You should be happy working on ground level HR work but also able to step up to a more strategic level when required.
  • Experience with using, mastering and sharing best practice for HR Systems.
  • Experience of working in an international multicultural environment (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great time management and able to manage multiple pieces of work at the same time.
  • A strong focus on delivering great customer service to internal customers.
