Oracle Service Cloud Technical System Admin

 

Reporting to: Head of eServices

Length of role: 12 month Fixed Term Contract

 

About the Role

We currently have an exciting position opening up in our Gibraltar office for a Technical System Admin, supplementing and supporting our current team of Oracle Service Cloud (OSvC) admins but with a dedication to the Legal and Compliance team, with a view to implementing and supporting an exciting new project that is set to get underway with a focus on AML and Player Safety

The ideal candidate would need to have (or be able to quickly develop) an understanding of how Oracle Service Cloud serves the business as a whole, and to see that a holistic view of the customer, and the need to stay both responsible and compliant as a business, is key. As already mentioned - whilst we would hope that all OSvC system admins on the whole would have a good overall understanding of functionality and be capable of jumping in and helping with areas of the software as a whole (when there are issues) - this role would be a dedicated resource for the ever more important Legal and Compliance aspect of our business.

 

What will you be doing

  • Be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Incident Management - designing Incident queues, understanding escalation processes, and so on
  • Designing and implementing Incident Queue Reports - to include creation and implementation of SLAs for specific Queues / Profiles
  • Good knowledge of Workspace Design and creation of Workflows
  • The candidate will need to have had experience or be able to demonstrate understanding of the BUI workspace and how this relates to the editor in the .NET console,
  • Experience with the BUI Extensibility Framework (JavaScript) would be a big plus
  • Communicating / working with other stakeholders to render information from 3rd party applications in the Incident workspace.
  • Proficient in Designing, creating and updating Business Rules & Workspace Rules
  • Controlling incident lifespan through combination of Business / Workspace rules – including, but not limited to blocking the change of Incident statuses based on current statuses of Incident and / or Task, setting timed rules to move reset statuses, etc
  • Creating & Editing Profiles and Permissions (and tying these back to the above)
  • Knowledge and experience in API based integrations – particularly knowledge of the Oracle APIS would be extremely advantageous. Some PHP knowledge would also be a plus, but not vital.

 

What have you done?

  • Circa two - three years of Oracle Service Cloud system admin experience
  • Good overall tech background, but able to demonstrate they can understand operational and technical elements of a business like Kindred, and that they see how these parts interact as a whole
  • Background in online gaming is beneficial, in particular an understanding of the key issues surrounding Player Safety and Anti-Money Laundering
  • Good communicator who can demonstrable the ability to talk to, and understand the needs of, stakeholders at different levels of the business
  • Problem solving mindset. and seeks challenges
  • Ability to work unsupervised and looks for work when there's downtime
