Operational Intelligence Manager

Role Objectives

  • Lead a team of experts in operational analysis, PSP/chargeback management and DPA requests
  • Establish and execute team strategy to bring the team vision into life
  • Support management and operational teams by providing insights & recommendations to improve fraud detection, de-risking activities and operational efficiency

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of experts in operational analysis, PSP/chargeback management and DPA requests
  • Assist all PS operational teams and management with bespoke analysis and reporting on fraudulent patterns or de-risking activities, using a combination of data analytics knowledge and experience/expertise in operational tasks
  • Provide necessary insights on operational performance to support operational efficiency initiatives
  • Provide data-based recommendations for optimization/improvement to teams and management
  • Help ensure operational compliance with local regulations and GDPR; own operational DPA requests
  • Ensure that operational tasks are handled in good time and with high quality
  • Collaborate with the Payments department & represent Player Sustainability through, among other things, conducting risk assessments as part of payment service provider onboarding
  • Provide continuous support, guidance and development to team members – helping them reach targets and excel professionally
  • Collaborate closely with other surrounding departments, e.g. Legal, Payments, Customer Service
  • Help assist technological and procedural improvements across the department
  • Deal with any ad-hoc or arising tasks/projects as required by management

 

Skills And Experience Required

  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills
  • Well-developed leadership skills
  • Knowledgeable about process improvement and project management processes
  • Analytical mind, able to go into detail and provide valuable suggestions
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of Player Sustainability operations and systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to drive and implement change
  • Intermediate SQL skills
  • Proficient at building and maintaining business relationships
  • Previous experience in a people management role is a plus
