Offensive Security Specialist Graduate


The Accelerate Program


Joining the Kindred graduate program means working on exciting and challenging projects with cutting edge technology and starting to build a network from day one.

From the very start of your first six months of the program you will work directly in your team with support from your mentor, as well as on exciting projects with your fellow graduates. You'll take part in several tailored learning modules designed to help you develop your skills, grow as a person, and build strong relationships. This is a 6 month fixed term contract with possibility to become permanent employment. Start date is 6th of September 2021. 


About the role


In this role you will be working with improving the security of our platform by:

  • Partnering with an Offensive Security specialist on penetration tests/red teaming to break our applications and infrastructure to find vulnerabilities. 
  • Supporting Cyber Security Specialists in the remediation efforts of vulnerabilities identified through Software Composition Analysis (SCA), penetration tests/red team exercises and/or our bug bounty program.
  • Support the co-ordination, prioritisation and follow-up of security findings. 
  • Support the level 2 triage of pentest findings made through the Kindred bug bounty programme and maintain strong communication with the external security researcher network.
  • Help our teams to prioritise and remediate vulnerabilities within our 3-party frameworks an libraries
  • Take ownership of the Software Composition Analysis tool (SCA) and contribute to how SCA is used within Kindred Group.


Your prof


  • Understanding of OWASP Top 10
  • Basic understanding how to read code
  • Strong people skills able to work independently and as part of the team
  • Able to engage well with technical and non-technical audiences
