The role  

This is a key role that aims to drive relevance and growth for the Belgium market.   You will be responsible for driving revenue from existing customers by planning and responding to marketing opportunities driven by outbound campaigns, events, sporting outcomes, product developments and calendars across Kindred's shopfronts.   

 

Where possible and beneficial this role may include the execution of pre-templated outbound communications to drive traffic to shopfronts to drive incremental sessions based on developments in live matches.   

 

Due to the nature of this role and its pivotal importance in driving relevance shifts will be required – these are likely to be:  

  • Afternoon evening (weekdays)  

  • Weekends   

  • Public holidays  

 

What you will do  

  • Responsible for Site Update & Maintenance - Responsible for what is being displayed on site  

  • Managing the local offers which include creating & editing promotions pages, optimising the promotions' visibility, analyse the impact of the overall onsite strategy     

  • Fully managing promotional banners in all brands and all “lobbies”    

  • Planning, generating and publishing content across all on-site channels in line with Company content calendars, priorities and marketing plans   

  • Day-to-day management of the Company's on-site social content hub – Primarily writing, editing and publishing content (inclusive of images, copy, video). providing content and enhancing user journey to optimize conversion and repeat custom  

  • Ensuring Market Growth Squad offers are visible, clear and accurate  

  • Briefing required assets or self-serving via Canva / another tool  

  • Day-to-day management of the social media channels   

  • Translation/transcreation of marketing content from English into Belgian Dutch and/or French for outbound and inbound retention campaigns and supporting landing pages

  • Ensure content activity is compliant and that sufficient QA and testing processes have been carried out  

  • Review key analysis on performance of content and optimise activity towards KPIs     

  • Keep up with industry and content trends as applicable to their role and actively contribute ideas and share insights with stakeholders with the support of the wider team   

  • Share outcomes, trends and insights with the wider squad, growth teams and retention team   

 

Your experience  

  • Good knowledge of site marketing and experience in creating on-site messaging  

  • Excellent written and verbal skills in local language with strong attention to detail  

  • 360 knowledge of social media marketing; with demonstrated experience working with Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram  

  • A good understanding of how the gaming industry works; both Casino and Sportsbook marketing   

  • An ability to think creatively and be pro-active about coming up with ideas and new ways of working. Not afraid to challenge the status quo 

  • Strong sports knowledge preferred
