Kindred is seeking an exceptional individual to join the US team in the role of Marketing Strategist. The individual will be responsible for managing the Unibet marketing calendar, that will tie in both Acquisition and Retention marketing. The Marketing Strategist will work with the available tools and stakeholders to maximize the impact of each campaign, through alignment of all communication channels and timely asset delivery. The right candidate for this position will have experience working with digital, multi-channel campaigns, managing several stakeholders and working with tight timelines. It is imperative that this person has a take-charge and can-do attitude, has strong social and people skills with the ability to build trust. We are looking for someone friendly, patient, and enthusiastic with a great attention to detail.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing the Marketing calendar driven by the sports schedule and other popular events.
  • Collaborate closely with creative and brand teams, to create marketing assets that drive results and further the brand. Develop creative briefs and articulate constructive feedback.
  • Work closely with the Acquisition teams to ensure their needs are represented in each campaign brief and the assets are delivered on time, to prepare for campaign execution.
  • Work closely with the CRM team to ensure Acquisition driven campaigns are consistently represented in the whole consumer journey, and certain Retention campaigns are elevated when appropriate.
  • Define the scope of each campaign, including the media mix and full list of stakeholders.
  • Ensure Creative Consistency throughout each campaign and channels.
  • Creation and maintenance of planning tools and information sharing workflow.
  • Overseeing the quality of the creative delivery from the external and internal agencies. Manage the asset delivery schedule and budget, to ensure timely and cost efficient production.
  • Ability to define the success of a campaign and adjust future campaigns based on learnings.
  • Share learnings, campaigns and success stories with other teams and departments. 
  • Champion experimental marketing concepts and find opportunities in our competitive landscape to expand the fan base.

What have you done?

  • 3-5 years experience in digital marketing/advertising within a B2C business or agency;
  • Project management skills
  • Understand and appreciate the value of brand and creative strategy; track record of working successfully with an in-house and/or external agency/creative team
  • Good understanding of customer acquisition funnel and different drivers at each stage
  • Data-driven with strong understanding of KPI's for digital media and how they drive movement through the digital marketing funnel
  • Motivated self-starter who can work independently but also builds strong relationships and trust working across teams and integrating cross-functionally
  • Great organization, planning and prioritization skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess skills in finding solutions to complex problems in a timely and calm manner
