IT Support Engineer

An IITS Engineer will work at pace to resolve varying issues. This can include SCCM and O365 support up to Level 2 and dealing with various internal incidents. The IITS Engineer will be the face of AMO when dealing with new starter requests and resolving incidents around the office. This role is ideal for a self-motivated and career minded team player.

Responsibilities

  • Offer application and technical support to the users
  • Respond and resolve the support requests and service tickets
  • Identify, diagnose and rectify any issues in computer hardware, software, services, and applications
  • Offer reactive and proactive support to business units and take into consideration the critical issues
  • Selection and installation of IT equipment and software
  • Handling hardware and software support, resolving software errors, installing and updating software, installing and replacing hardware, and training end-users'
  • Complete ongoing infrastructure, maintenance, and system checks
  • Deal with new starter tickets & leavers
  • Respond to incidents through Jira
  • Collaborate with the Workflow & Task lead
  • Take a proactive and agile response to dealing with workflows
  • Take initiative & responsibility for your personal development in conjunction with your line lead

Knowledge and skills

  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills to be able to interact with end users of various technical levels
  • Team player that is willing to learn and share knowledge amongst team members
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Thorough approach to troubleshooting and task completion
  • Working experience of Windows and Mac operating systems as well as mobile technologies
  • Knowledge of active directory tools
  • Understanding of SCCM & O365 to level 2 support standard
  • Knowledge and understanding of AV technologies
