HR Systems Analyst

 

About the role

 

We are currently implementing Workday to help streamline our HR processes and recruitment. We are looking for an HR Systems Analyst with experience in Workday or similar cloud based system to help run the new system. Have attention to detail and the ability to manage own workload to deadlines.

 

What will you be doing?

 

  • Manage the production and sandbox environments, establishing a well-controlled systems environment by defining, documenting and enforcing system standards.
  • Support Workday Administrative functions including security configuration, tenant configuration, reports and upgrades.
  • Work closely with functional areas (HR, Payroll, IT and Finance) and other stakeholders to test and implement efficient solutions
  • Assist in developing the change control process vision
  • Develop and regularly perform system change audits and validation and follow up with appropriate teams for correction
  • Maintain system related requirements and technical documentation
  • Monitor and assist with impact analysis with up/down stream systems
  • Identify, recommend and track opportunities for process and operational improvements
  • Troubleshooting system issues

Change & Release Management Approach

  • Participate in the Workday release cycle including (but not limited to) the following activities:
  • Update functional process guides, training materials and user guides for end users
  • Support the change programme to ensure successful uptake of Workday by all users - facilitating solution design workshops where necessary
  • Provide support with security, reporting and EIB uploads (mass data uploads).

Process & Support Model

  • Escalate to Functional Specialist for process or configuration issues raised by end users
  • Strong collaboration with HR Teams to respond to business needs and build appropriate solutions
  • Support the configuration and development of Workday to ensure simplicity and value for end users
  • Monitor and respond to support queries being raised, resolve where possible and/or liaise with 3rd party support agent or other internal functions
  • Provide support on ad-hoc projects as required

 

How will success be measured in this role

 

  • Workday effectiveness and usage
  • Delivery to the company roadmap – BPs, processes, guides, training delivery
  • Effectiveness of HR ticketing system
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant trainings and other compliance activities related to the role to support the delivery for sustainable and responsible growth
  • Acting in line with Kindred's values at all times
