HR Systems Analyst - 12 Months Maternity Cover


The role

Reporting to the HR Systems Lead, this is in interim position for 12 months to cover maternity leave. We have been live with Workday for nearly 4 years now and are looking for an HR Systems Analyst with experience in Workday or similar cloud based system to help run the new system. You will have core responsibilities around the delivering projects, testing, managing our integrations, security and config set up in partnership with the rest of the HRIS team.  You should have attention to detail, enjoy working with a distributed stakeholder group and the ability to manage your own workload to specific deadlines.


What you will do

  • Support with roll out of Learning module, delivering more functionalities on Talent module and setting up purging on Workday.
  • Manage the production and sandbox environments, establishing a well-controlled systems environment by defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
  • Support Workday Administrative functions including integrations, tenant configuration, reports, and upgrades.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to analyze business requirements and provide and support efficient solutions.
  • Work closely with functional areas (HR, Payroll, IT and Finance) and other stakeholders to test and implement efficient solutions
  • Assist in developing the change control process vision
  • Develop and regularly perform system change audits and validation and follow up with appropriate teams for correction
  • Maintain system related requirements and technical documentation
  • Monitor and assist with impact analysis with up/down stream systems
  • Identify, recommend and track opportunities for process and operational improvements
  • Responsible for supporting the business with the setup, change and removal of new locations, new entities, new pay groups and custom objects
  • Supporting HR Systems Lead with tenant management within Workday : new tenants, renewals, implementors access, ensuring we have the right tenant set up for projects, managing any systems blackout / downtime
  • Troubleshooting system issues

Change & Release Management Approach

  • Participate in the Workday release cycle including (but not limited to) the following activities:
  • Update functional process guides, training materials and user guides for end users
  • Support the change programme to ensure successful uptake of Workday by all users - facilitating solution design workshops where necessary
  • Provide support with reporting and EIB uploads (mass data uploads).

Process & Support Model

  • Escalate to Functional Specialist for process or configuration issues raised by end users
  • Strong collaboration with HR Teams to respond to business needs and build appropriate solutions
  • Support the configuration and development of Workday to ensure simplicity and value for end users
  • Monitor and respond to support queries being raised, resolve where possible and/or liaise with 3rd party support agent or other internal functions
  • Provide support on ad-hoc projects as required

  • Delivery to the company roadmap – Reporting, Integrations, processes, guides, training delivery
  • Effectiveness of HR ticketing system
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant trainings and other compliance activities related to the role to support the delivery for sustainable and responsible growth
  • Acting in line with Kindred's values at all times
