HR Functional Specialist

The HR Functional Specialist will be responsible for supporting the global HR Information System (Workday), as well as driving innovative solutions that support the business, working closely with other HR stakeholders.

 

What you will do

  • Configure and manage of Absence, Benefits & Time Tracking modules on Workday ​ to ensure simplicity and value for end users
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to analyse business requirements and provide and support efficient solutions for above modules 
  • Work closely with functional areas and other stakeholders to test and implement efficient solutions 
  • Maintain system related requirements and technical documentation for above mentioned modules 
  • Identify, recommend and track opportunities for process and operational improvements and drive these improvements by collaborating with other teams 
  • Be the escalation point for People Services Team for any queries around Absence, Benefits & Time Tracking  
  • Provide training and best practice guidance to HR teams around above mentioned modules 
  • Responsible for Data Quality for HR Systems ​ 
  • Provide support on ad-hoc projects as required 
  •  

How will success be measured in this role

  • Reduction in absence/time tracking/benefits queries​ 
  • SLA of resolution of absence/time tracking/benefits queries​
  • Acting in line with Kindred Group values​
  • Successful completion of all relevant training and other compliance activities that support Kindred's sustainable and responsible growth​ 

 

Your experience

  • Functional HRIS experience; Workday preferable 
  • Experience in Working in an HR Shared Services environment 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills a plus 
  • Strong collaborative, analytical, and problem-solving skills 
  • An aptitude for learning and collaboration across teams, in line with Kindred's values
