HR Business Partner Malta

Based in Malta, reporting into the Global HR Business Partner, we are looking for a talented individual who will partner with our Directors in the Marketing function, but will also be part and foresee local compliance within the Malta office.

 

What will you be doing? 

  • Partner with our Director and Ops Managers within our Marketing function; ensuring to build strong relationships and to coach them on all employee related matters, ensuring guidance is best practice, consistent across departments and commercially focused. 
  • Work with our Directors to ensure people plans are developed in accordance with our business objectives and company strategies.  
  • Building out and maintaining a Learning Needs Analysis for the relevant teams, ensuring focus and commitment on development of our employees, with continued emphasis on our high potentials. 
  • Building out a succession plan for your area and aligning it to our other functional plans so we have a broader view of talent cross-functionally. 
  • Deliver training for your area where necessary, including New Manager induction, Performance Management and Managing Underperformance. 
  • Collaborate and be part in the local compliance part by working alongside the Advisor to ensure everything is done within the legal remit.
  • Confidently advise managers on how to resolve employee relations issues, using up to date and strong knowledge of local employment legislation across your locations. Ability to advise on risk.
  • Work with the Global HR Business Partner on delivering all aspects of the HR Roadmap in the Marketingl function. This includes but is not limited to; strategic workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, salary review and bonus processes (calibration) and employee engagement. 
  • Lead certain projects (assigned by the Global HRBP) and work with HR and Business stakeholders to successfully deliver the project. 
  • Always ensure compliance to local/EU employment regulations in all activities undertaken and maintain confidentiality. 

 

What have you done? 

  • At least 5 years of experience working in a similar role where you have been partnering, advising and guiding the business on a range of HR matters. 
  • Strong HR background, experience of working with Centres of Excellence to execute people strategy e.g. employee engagement, salary review, performance management annual processes. 
  • Workday experience advantageous. 
  • Experience of delivering projects to tight deadlines in fast paced environment. 
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across the business. 
  • Knowledge of Malta employment regulations. 
  • Experience of working in an international multicultural environment (preferred). 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Great time management and able to manage multiple pieces of work at the same time. 
  • A strong focus on delivering great customer service to internal customers. 
  • Education within HR or similar field (preferred).
