Head of Talent Acquisition


The role


As Kindred's head of Talent Acquisition, you will take responsibility for managing a team of talent acquisition partners across four locations. You will deliver end-to-end recruitment services to support Kindred's global growth targets to agreed metrics, working with the head of the Talent Development/HR Leadership Team to develop and deliver Kindred's talent strategy.


What you will do


  • Manage a team of 14 Talent Acquisition Partners
  • Ensure Kindred's global growth targets are met – c.750 hires (including internal promotions)
  • Support and co-ordinate global initiatives in conjunction with local Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Ensure key TA metrics are achieved
  • Formulate plans in conjunction with the business, your team and colleagues in HR to meet a complex range of hiring needs in 15 offices globally
  • Lead on key projects and process improvement initiatives to keep Kindred's hiring optimised and a strong pipleline of talent is available
  • Keep up to date with best practice/industry trends in talent acquisition
  • Lead on senior hiring when required
  • Lead the execution of an employer branding plan in line with the global employer branding strategy
  • Ensure a first-class candidate, hiring manager and employee experience
  • Secure hands-on recruitment for some senior positions

Cost per hire

Perception of Kindred Group as an employer of choice (employer brand)

Volume of hires to budget

Quality of hires – attrition, % new hires passing probation


Regular performance reviews with your line manager

Acting in line with Kindred Group values

Successful completion of all relevant training and other compliance activities that support Kindred's sustainable and responsible growth


Your experience


  • Management of teams with a focus on developing individuals and creating a great atmosphere as well as opportunities for personal growth 
  • Leading teams responsible for recruiting internationally within a fast paced business
  • A broad understanding and awareness of the challenges faced in different European markets and an understanding of immigration restrictions
  • Delivery against challenging KPIs continuously throughout your career
  • Experienced at recruiting within a digital business and have a high level understanding of digital marketing and tech recruitment
  • Experienced at executing and inputting to (or designing) employer branding strategies
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders, informing them of key trends through well researched and presented data
  • Management of stakeholders who have high expectations on you to deliver
  • Work within high growth, high pressure environments
