Head of Exclusive Content



The role

Kindred Group is looking for a creative casino games lover to take on the role as Head of Exclusive Games.

Your main responsibility will be to capture Kindred Group's opportunities within the exclusive game development vertical. You will ensure that we deliver the best gambling experience to our players by offering the most interesting and engaging exclusive games via our own RGS, or with the support from third party studios. You will identify, select, and coordinate with talented development studios to create new content specifically tailored to our player base. Based in Malta, your role includes working with colleagues across Kindred's different offices, as well as suppliers across the world.

You will own the exclusive casino games vertical from concept stage to go-live. You will manage the development of multiple internal and external projects at once by working with partners/departments to deliver a best in class product. You and your team will work with suppliers throughout all stages; such as creating concepts, capturing bugs, approving art work, negotiating contracts and owning budgets.

You join this role with a great understanding of the casino games and features, massive experience of online slots, mobile casino, and customer insights. Working in challenging environments is not a problem for you, you have a positive, 'let's get things done' attitude and you know how to motivate partners and colleagues.

What you will do

  • To ensure that Kindred Group is engaging in own game development, with the purpose of delivering a unique product proposition to our customers
  • Find, drive and execute own game development opportunities for new and existing product segments
  • Own the internal RGS platform and recruit/manage the required staff.
  • Manage the individual game development projects and safeguard Kindred's interest in terms of delivery, compliance and launch
  • Continuously develop Kindred's business models in connection to game development projects to ensure maximized returns
  • Collaborate with external studios (and internal resources) to create suitable and attractive gaming products for end customer use
  • Negotiate and approve deals with external studios to ensure the best rate.
  • Liaise with artists, art directors, mathematicians, game designers and other stakeholders to ensure the game is produced according to the agreed milestone deliveries.
  • Support internal stakeholders and Kindred's markets in their efforts to differentiate their Gaming product offering versus competition
  • Partner with the business development staff to determine the needs of potential opportunities, and how those needs would impact the current resource allocation plan
  • Drive innovation through gaming projects
  • Research and study game products to stay up to date with market trends and competition.
  • Good communication skills both in terms of documentation (writing technical documents, creating mock-ups), and in self-expression (articulate, able to present ideas to varying audiences). 



Your experience

  • Minimum three (3) year in product development and product management
  • Proven track-record of delivering tangible results
  • Extensive understanding of the online casino industry
  • Experience from project management, on time delivery and collaboration across companies and countries
  • A good mathematical and statistical understanding
  • Demonstrate a flexible, active and curious mentality
  • Experience from working with third party suppliers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Can do attitude with a positive mindset
