Head of Content Management



The role

Responsible for effective planning, delivery and measurement of content activity across the group, and delivering on the team's vision.


What you will do

  • Responsible for the delivery and quality output of all content work produced within the Content team and the plan for content delivery globally
  • Responsible for brand consistency across content activity
  • Responsible for setting strategic direction for the content team
  • Leading, inspiring and motivating the Content department
  • Provide team with strong mentoring and clear leadership which both motivates and inspires a culture of high achievement, while nurturing key members of the team to ensure long term retention of talented individuals
  • Managing an effective and diverse team
  • Provide development support for the team
  • Lead the design, implementation and maintenance of key processes utilized by the team and key interfaces to ensure effective delivery of content
  • Design and embed effective frameworks to plan, run and measure content activity across the group
  • Set team objectives and manage performance against set goals; responsible for all campaign performance
  • Actively look to improve ways of working and find efficiencies in the processes on an ongoing basis
  • Actively identify opportunities to drive our content strategy forward and become innovative
  • Manage content related platforms and tools, ensuring that the technical systems are in place to deliver on the team's vision

Your experience

  • Experience of managing a content focused team
  • A proven track record of leadership and coaching
  • Ability to think laterally to resolve issues
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting directly with senior leadership
  • An intimate understanding of social, copy and web best practices
  • Excellent motivation and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work on their own
  • Personal Leadership: Responsible for driving own results
  • Team player: Ability to inspire and influence.
  • Able to negotiate cross-functionally
  • Experience of implementing new processes and embedding change
