About the role


Passionate about social media, sport, casino and the gambling industry? This is a unique opportunity to join a leader in the online gaming sector. We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Social Media team.


Overseeing a team of community managers, you will take responsibility for driving social media conversations across selected core social channels. This role is to implement a pre-existing global Social Media strategy, with a primary focus in keeping the brand’s social channels up to date with fresh, cutting-edge, engaging content.


This position will help Kindred Group with its multi-brand/multi-product positioning and assist with Customer Support across social.


What will you be doing?


  • Delivering, communicating and implementing a compelling social and content strategy that can be scaled across multiple brands and markets.
  • Managing a team of Community Managers from different brands and markets.
  • Overseeing the community management verticals, ensuring tone of voice and responsible protocol are maintained across numerous brands and markets.
  • Day-to-day responsibility of the brands’ social media communities including content creation to drive engagement with fans/followers.
  • Represent social media and content across the whole group, liaising with key internal stakeholders.
  • Work fluidly alongside social advertising colleagues on core channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) to set up and run social acquisition and content amplification campaigns.
  • Work alongside marketing intelligence and analytics colleagues to record and benchmark campaign performance against KPIs and report on trends and insights to key stakeholders.
  • Social content creation to drive engagement with fans/followers
  • Delivery and support of social media strategy and plans
  • Working closely with the customer support team to ensure social CS is kept to a high standard
  • Working across our many sponsorships and with our key ambassadors to amplify wider marketing messages through social.
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Keep internal communication channels up to date, liaising with stakeholders from all facets of the business across our global portfolio


What have you done?


  • Previous experience in digital and specialism in sport/casino content and/or social media
  • Keen interest in the mechanics and customer behaviour of online gaming.
  • Previous experience of a management role in a digital-first environment.
  • Proven track record of managing and engaging with customers across multiple social communities
  • Experience in using Social Media Management and Monitoring Systems & tools (i.e. Social Studio, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, etc) is desirable but not essential
  • A veritable thought-leader on social and content marketing.
  • A finger on the social industry pulse up to date with developments throughout the social sphere and investigating potential ways of innovating our output to add value
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering content marketing strategies that have achieved tangible commercial benefits.
  • A strong interest in sports is a must.
  • Ability to extract insights from audience data and present to senior management and key stakeholders.
