The HR function is undergoing a transformation to better support the rapidly changing needs of Kindred. Key objectives of this will be: 

 

  • To be more strategic in the offering of HR services to the business
  • To get the basics right more consistently and build scalable function
  • To improve capability and capacity in the operating model to advise and support on OD &D projects
  • To provide more localised and connected HR support to local offices

 

Working with one major (and potentially other smaller) functions across Kindred the Global HR Business Partner will be responsible for supporting one or more Execs to ensure their strategic plans have people plans that support this activity. 

These plans will include strategic workforce planning succession planning, high level talent management, and enterprise footprint strategy. 

 

What will you be doing?

 

  • Translating functional strategy into focused functional people plans
  • Liaising with CoEs and Lead Local HR Business Partners to create long term executable plans 
  • Inputting functional expert knowledge into Kindred's global strategic workforce plan and recommending strategies within
  • Creating succession plans for your functions alongside the Talent Development team 
  • Working with your functional leaders and HR colleagues to recommend the enterprise footprint; ensuring that we are optimised for talent, cost and office space 
  • Delivering functional organisation design where required with the support of the Organisation Effectiveness team
  • Supporting Executive Leadership on key HR issues
  • Working with the People Change and Local HR teams on any key change matters eg acquisition and reorganisations 
  • Balance commercial thinking with an HR governance and policy mindset
  • Act as a trusted advisor, coach, and consultant for senior leaders to improve their leadership capability
  • Understanding the complexity of business/people issues and opportunities and work with CoE team's to develop and implement "best practice" solutions

What have you done? 

 

  • Proven experience working as a strategic HR business partner in a large matrix organisation
  • Experience of delivering people change projects  
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across the business 
  • Experience of working in an international environment (preferred)
  • Experience of organisation design (preferred) 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Great time management and able to manage multiple pieces of work at the same time 
  • A strong focus on delivering great customer service to internal customers
  • Education to degree level (preferred)
