The Role

This role sits within our growing Sportsbook Trading and Risk department and will be responsible for the pre-match and in-play trading of a global sports schedule.

Our ideal candidate will have a good analytical background, strong mathematical skills and knowledge of P&L. Also you should have excellent communication skills, with an ability to communicate with different stakeholders at all levels across the business.

What You Will Do

Be a key player within our trading team on our Kindred trading platform.
Responsible for the accurate and timely provision of events, markets and odds for our proprietary trading platform.
Responsible for liabilities and positions across the entire sports betting product (trading).
Responsible for monitoring/responding to activity or information that could impact the profitability of the KSP betting product
Monitor appropriate competitor markets and take action as required
Assist Risk Management with the identification of a customer/group of customers' risk profiles.
Coordinate and collaborate with the internal Sportsbook team e.g. Strategy, Marketing, Promotional and Operational requirements/ issues as appropriate

Your Experience

Knowledge of the methods/ mathematics that apply to sports trading
Knowledge of sports betting with an understanding and interest of most global sports
Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to tight timelines/deadlines
Understanding of customer profiling and behavioural trends
Can work to a good standard with all Microsoft office tools, particularly Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Industry experience is desirable, but not essential, for this role as comprehensive training will be provided.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
Shift patterns are variable, to include days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays and may also include early, evening and night working hours.
