Finance System Analyst

The role

As a Senior Finance System Analyst for the Finance systems team, you will be required to be a leader and a project management expert to provide invaluable experience in the new global transformation that Kindred Group are striving towards.  Communication is key and is required to constantly liaise and keep stakeholders updated with regular progress and mitigate any escalatory incidents.

What you will do

The role involves being an integral member of the team who will work alongside the other finance system analyst to effectively plan and prepare the upcoming implementation tasks whilst also providing both technical and financial support to our userbase on our current finance systems and surrounding systems that our team houses with the mindset of efficiency and improving process.  We are looking for someone who is technically minded but with a sound knowledge of finance so that requirements can be converted into technical development or configuration.

 

How will success be measured in this role

  • Responsible for system administration and support of 3rd party corporate systems.
  • Working closely with our corporate system vendors and managing incidents accordingly.
  • Coordinate the change management process.
  • Managing technical configurations and user access rights.
  • Working closely with teams surrounding corporate to build effective relationships for global transformation.
  • Liaison between Payment Service Providers and our dedicated reconciliation system.
  • Lead the system implementation, acting as finance/technical resource projects (Project Management, Requirements gathering, configuration, technical documentation, SIT, UAT, Hypercare Support).

 

Your experience

  • Significant experience with Finance Systems support/implementation.
  • Knowledge of financial systems including ERP, consolidation, budgeting and payroll.
  • Technical expertise in SQL and general code platforms.
  • Able to build and design of Business Requirements through to Solution Design.
  • Able to handle large data sets
  • Experience working with upgrading procedures.
  • Good understanding of M&A.
  • Ability to perform effective documentation and training.
  • Established understanding of Jira & Confluence.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems.
  • Adept in the MS Office Suite.
  • Good organization skills to balance and prioritise work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
