Finance Analyst


About the role

As a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, you will be responsible for providing support during the group budgets and forecasts, preparation of monthly management accounts and other analysis to departments across the business. You will work closely with other Finance departments and will need to build and maintain excellent relationships with these teams. Given the strong recent growth of the company you will need to look for ways to develop and improve our existing budgeting and reporting.


What will you be doing?


  • Prepare various monthly management reports for the group
  • Production of commentary & analysis to support variances against budgets, forecasts and prior periods.
  • Developing and improving existing reporting
  • Support reporting requirements for the quarterly announcements
  • Ensure the integrity of key financial data (KPI vs accounting reconciliation)
  • Providing support during the annual budget and forecasting cycles
  • Other ad hoc projects/modelling


How will you be measured:


  • Adhering to set deadlines for budgets, forecasts & quarterly presentations requirements
  • Ensuring accuracy in reporting
  • Showing how you can improve processes and manage any changes as they arise.
  • Displaying the ability to prioritise responsibilities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant training and other compliance activities in order to support the delivery for sustainable and responsible growth
  • Acting in line with Kindred's values

What have you done?


  • Part Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or CIMA equivalent) or evidence of management accounting experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and be highly organised to manage your workload effectively.
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, vlookups & sumifs)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and able to grow with the role and the company
  • Experience of working in a high growth company an advantage
  • Interest in sport / online gaming an advantage
