Data Analyst - Digital Marketing

The role

 

As an online business who invests heavily in digital marketing activities we collect a huge amount of data. This includes data about our media buys, campaigns, onsite customer interactions and much more. You will  use this collected data to support our digital marketing experts in reaching their goals by providing them with actionable insights on the campaign performance and giving proactive insights on campaign improvements and drive return on investment. This is a hands-on role and we are looking for someone experienced in building analytical models that will help teams that run marketing campaigns be more efficient with their spend.

 

You will be working with the latest cutting edge technology and be the expert within the field. We promote learning and development at Kindred Group and you will be given the platform to evolve within the fast growing Digital Marketing space by taking part in events, conferences, training courses and much more.

 

The team is growing quickly which will open up opportunities for you to take ownership of interesting projects and work closely with senior stakeholders within the business. 

 

What you will do

 

  • Monitor daily performance, identify trends and report on them
  • Analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for future campaigns
  • Provide strategic direction on advertising campaigns and drive new marketing measurement initiatives.
  • Provide ROI analysis of all digital marketing campaigns
  • Learn and perform advanced analyses to identify KPI's and drivers of customer behaviour
  • Working closely with the biddable team to identify and explore opportunities to improve marketing efficiency.


About you:

 

  • Strong understanding of cost metrics for SEM, Online Display, Affiliate and Social Channels
  • Previous experience in digital marketing with a strong understanding of Analytics and Strategy
  • Hands on experience with web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, and analytics backends of platforms such as Google Adwords, AppNexus, Doubleclick, Adform and suchlike.
  • Experience of actively using data visualisation / BI tools (eg., Qlik, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Knowledge of R, Python or a high-level scripting language.  
  • The ability to analyse data, present reports and create marketing dashboards
