Corporate Development Manager

About the role

Kindred is strengthening its corporate development team with a Corporate Development Manager who will be supporting in strategic corporate projects including M&A appraisals, new product and market assessments, strategic partnerships and other internal corporate development projects

The Corporate Development Manager will report to the Head of Corporate Development & IR.

What will you be doing?

  • Actively drive M&A pipeline activities including deal sourcing, target analysis, 
  • Manage key deliverables in M&A process including investment case analysis, due diligence, valuation, preparation of decision material, and ensure seamless deal execution
  • Evaluate and manage other strategic initiatives such as joint ventures, divestitures, and partnership activities
  • Strategic corporate projects and opportunities (new market assessments, strategic partnerships, disposal of assets and other corporate development opportunities)
  • Development of the market intelligence activities (Research industry and market trends, competitive landscape, analysis of transactions etc.) and keeping it up to date with constant development of the functionality and automation of data.
  • Maintaining and building relationships with investment banks and advisors
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders to get a comprehensive understanding of the business and to monitor the market activity and competition
  • Provide the management and the board with insight to drive intelligent, strategic and data-driven decision-making
  • Support with post-acquisition operational integration projects
  • Support with post-acquisition performance analysis
  • Prepare routine and adhoc presentations and reporting packages for senior management and board review
  • Various strategic initiatives and projects related to e.g. operational efficiency and cost optimisation
  • The assessment and project management of larger investment opportunities
  • Long-term financial planning and evaluation of different financing alternatives
  • Maintaining and building relationships with lending banks and other potential financing providers
  • Support in preparing investor and bank presentations

We are looking for a person with the following skills, knowledge and experience

  • An ambitious person with strong drive, positive attitude and eagerness to learn new things
  • A team player with good social skills but must at the same time also be comfortable working independently
  • A person who is not afraid of taking on new challenges
  • Ability to lead projects and coordination between different departments and stakeholders
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with solid strategic thinking
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • A genuine interest for business and corporate development
  • Proven financial modelling skills
  • A higher degree in Business or Finance with around 5 years professional experience
  • Preferably a background within investment banking, management consulting, transaction services or inhouse strategy/M&A role with a larger corporation
  • Previous M&A experience is required
  • Previous iGaming sector experience is not required but would be positive
