Compliance Manager(Third-Party Systems)

 

 

The role

We in the Enterprise IT team are looking for a Third-party System Compliance Manager to enhance governance controls and processes for third-party system lifecycle management.

As a Third-party System Compliance Manage in the team, you will be tasked with creating new processes, monitoring our existing processes, and identifying improvement opportunities. You will be supporting our Business Owners, Delivery Managers, and other key stakeholders in ensuring that our third-party systems and external services remain compliant after release, in an ever-changing regulatory and compliance landscape.

We seek someone with impeccable communication skills, a broad set of technical skills and an understanding of IT compliance risks and how these can relate to implementing, using, and decommissioning Third-party systems (Technical, Data Privacy, Information Security risks etc).

What You Will Do

 

  • Create and maintain our third-party Change Management process, specifically handling the changes to our critical third-party systems (such as new integrations, new market deployments and decommissioning) utilising a risk-based approach. 
  • Create, supervise, and maintain the Enterprise IT QMS (Quality Management System) processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring that they are visible, communicated effectively, and fit for their intended purpose.
  • Support internal stakeholders to identify, assess and advise on controls and safeguards for third-party system lifecycle management.
  • Act as a representative in internal and external audits and liaise across our multiple compliance teams where required.
  • Support our System / Business Owners to better understand and navigate complex technical compliance requirements in relation to new compliance controls.
  • Conducting and overseeing internal reviews or audits periodically to ensure that compliance procedures are followed.
  • Proactively work on developing and improving the teams' practices, and current working processes.
  • Be an ambassador for the Kindred values by embodying them in all your work.

 

Your Experience

 

  • Experience working within an IT/Technology/Data-focused Security and/or Compliance role (ex: IT Compliance Manager, Security/Data Governance Specialist/Lead, or similar)
  • Governance, Risk or Compliance related experience, preferably with a good understanding of Tech and working in a Tech department.
  • Understanding of Risk Management or Governance related standards/ principles / frameworks (i.e. COBIT, ITIL)

  • Have a good understanding of the different compliance/regulations and frameworks that impact third-party systems and software (such as GDPR, ISO27:1, NIST)

  • Ability to drive and coordinate multiple deliveries using a business mindset, always driving for value for Kindred.
  • Excellent social skills and the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
  • Experience with Atlassian suite (JIRA and Confluence) is merited, but not essential.
