Commercial and Marketing Project Manager

About the role

 

Kindred is one of Europe's largest online gaming groups with 9 brands operating across multiple markets and in turn serving around 26m customers worldwide. Following a recent organisational change, our delivery model is expected to be driven and adapted to a more customer centric approach, where departmental business delivery functions are expected to serve a key role in delivering the most beneficial projects and initiatives for Kindred.


As a business delivery manager, you will be responsible for collecting, evaluating, and delivering commercial and marketing-based initiatives – normally coming from our local marketing team or global marketing service function. Supported by and supporting other business delivery functions, as well as our Experience owners, you are expected to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and functions on various initiatives.

 

You will also work closely with other business delivery managers, head of business delivery functions, and portfolio management roles in keeping a balanced commercial and marketing portfolio, as well as the overall Kindred portfolio. You are expected to keep the business updated on all relevant progress and support it in adapting delivery according to expectation and needs.

 

What you'll do:

 

  • Collect, evaluate, monitor, track and drive prioritised Commercial and Marketing initiatives until they are delivered – sometimes as a project manager and sometimes alongside other delivery representative(s)
  • Report progress to relevant stakeholders in an adapted and appropriate manner, to ensure information flows efficiently and adequately
  • Provide necessary information from initiatives to help optimising portfolio prioritisation – including relevant (adjacent) information available in other departments and teams
  • Ensure all commercial and marketing initiatives are aligned with the overall Kindred strategy, as well as the departmental ditto (across markets/brands) - driven with a business mind-set from collection to delivery
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to understand functional strategy and strategic direction, partnering together to achieve business outcome with maximum value
  • Manage complexity, mitigate risks, and solve issues within initiatives on behalf of the Commercial/Marketing owner
  • Manage change as part of delivery to ensure a smooth transition to the future state of the initiative – combining traditional project management with a change management mindset and approach
  • Be an ambassador for the Kindred values by embodying it in all your work

 

About you:

 

  • Ability to understand and a genuine interest in the gambling industry, Kindred's strategic direction, and more specifically the direction for Kindred's Commercial and Marketing functions
  • Strong drive, resilience, and assertiveness in a delivery context
  • Good understanding of our Commercial/Marketing organisation, as well as the delivery functions and methodologies used at Kindred.
  • Experience/interest in driving and more importantly delivering projects of varying size, complexity, and urgency
  • Great stakeholder communication and presentation skills – ability to coordinate, negotiate, and delegate work in an effective way
  • Ability to understand the connection between ambiguous and complex requirements, as well as communicate these in an understandable and adapted way.
  • Excellent social skills and ability to build cross functional relationships
  • Ability to drive and coordinate multiple projects using a business mind-set, with the ultimate purpose to delivery maximum value for Kindred.
