About the role 

Data and Analytics insight is at the heart of everything what we do at Kindred. Several teams across the business use clickstream data to make business decisions and derive insights to improve customer experience. The complexity and size of our data continues to increase as we scale up our presence in new markets and innovate our product offering. 

We are looking for Cloud developer who has extensive experience with clickstream data. You will be responsible for establishing clickstream data in AWS, building, and supporting systems to produce datasets describing Kindred customer behavior across our domains and platforms – website, mobiles, and applications.   

As part of the Analytics Tech team you will help to define and deliver our next generation architecture to produce high quality behavioral datasets and metrics suite. You will work alongside Analytics Tech specialist and analysts to produce high quality datasets that truthfully represent the online behavior of our customers and improve our team's operational efficiency.  

 

About you 

To excel in this position, you should possess and showcase most of the following qualities: 

  • Possessing solid SQL expertise. 
  • Familiarity with Redshift configuration and expertise in query tuning and schema design. 
  • Experience with data modelling, ideally clickstream data modelling. 
  • Experience with dbt or similar. 
  • Understanding of some aspects of AWS DevOps. 
  • Experience in utilizing technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, S3, Athena, Docker. 
  • Experience with data catalogue to document processes and data models to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer. 
  • Capability to manage and adapt to uncertainty, demonstrating a willingness to learn through iterative processes and exhibiting a proactive attitude. 
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data models. 

In addition, it would be an advantage if you also have

  • AWS certification. 
  • Worked as digital analytics implementation developer. 
  • Knowledge of Python.
