Capacity Engineer

Reporting to: IT Production Assurance Manager

About the role


Kindred is one of the largest online gambling companies in the world with over 20 million customers across 100 markets. Our brand portfolio consists of 13 brands, among them Unibet, Maria Casino, 32Red and iGame. As a Capacity Engineer at Kindred we strive to become the No.1 Operator across all markets.

We design, code and operate tools and systems to reduce the amount of time and effort necessary for our developers to provide the best platform service for all our brands. We are strong believers in engineering teams taking operational responsibility for their products and work hard to support them in this. We work closely with developers to advocate sensible, scalable systems, design and share responsibility with them in diagnosing, resolving, and preventing production issues.


What will you be doing?



Everything we do aims towards designing and building a best-in-class platform for all of our brands. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Being a member of a small multi-functional squad.
  • Follow up resource usage and available capacity.
  • Share and spread QA culture within the team and department.
  • Help to create test plans for non-functional requirements.
  • Create designs, road maps and strategies aligned with the Company vision.
  • Undertake measured, strict, troubleshooting of complicated systems and potentially resolve time-critical incidents.
  • Deliver a scalable infrastructure.
  • Work with problem management and capacity planning.
  • Work from our office in Stockholm, Sweden.
  • See the holistic view but still keep a sense of the details.


What have you done?


  • You have a passion for solving problems
  • You have some experience with automation
  • You have a solid background in performance and capacity testing
  • You have some experience with capacity planning and reporting
  • You have experience with different monitoring tools
  • You might not be an expert in everything, but you have a can-do mentality and want to keep on learning on the job.
