Affiliate Operations Team Lead

The role

As the Affiliate Operations Team Lead, your role within Kindred Group is critical to the success of the Affiliate Program. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the functions and roles of the Affiliate Systems Executive/Manager, Affiliate Operations Executive, Payments and Compliance Manager and the Marketing Communications Manager, which together make up the Affiliate Operations Team and provide mission-critical support to the rest of the Affiliate Department.

You will lead your team by supporting them in their day-to-day work and by working collaboratively with them to identify and address any issues within these areas and be vigilant to any and all new features and/or projects that will help improve the efficiency of the Affiliate Team. Doing so successfully will ensure that the Kindred Affiliates program leads the way in terms of performance, reputation and integrity within Kindred Group and the online gambling affiliate sector.

What you will do

  • Lead and manage your team, setting an example in everything you do
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the Affiliate Systems Executive, Affiliate Operations Executive, Payments and Compliance Manager and the Marketing Communications Manager.
  • Lead and support your team, enabling them to deliver against projects, tasks and activities that will be identified and defined by you.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of your team, including weekly and monthly KPI reporting with the Affiliate Team and other members of Kindred Group as required.
  • Regularly review all systems and tools used by the team to ensure they are fit-for-purpose and that we are using them to their full ability. Where they and we are not, you will take corrective action to address this.
  • Oversee the monthly payment process for these systems and lead the contract renewal process with support of the Procurement Team and the Head of Affiliates.
  • Collaborate with all Affiliate Team members to ensure that their feedback on these areas is collated and implemented, where appropriate.  
  • Support the delivery of end-user training and facilitate end-user testing
  • Manage and develop internal projects and resources to improve existing processes and help drive innovation within the affiliate program
  • Process documentation and distribution to relevant stakeholders

 

How will success be measured in this role

Work closely with the following roles and teams:

  • The Head of Affiliates, other Team Leads and the wider Affiliate team
  • Product Marketing teams to spread the word about our latest and greatest product features
  • The Finance Team to ensure Affiliate payments are made on time
  • The Data Engineering team to ensure best-practice is followed at all times when managing and processing data
  • Marketing Intelligence to ensure KPI data is accurately reflected in all internal reporting
  • Any other Kindred Group teams as and when required by the nature of your role
  • Attend industry events and keep updated on industry trends that impact on the program and the business
  • Work on projects that may impact other areas of the business as agreed and directed by the Head of Affiliates
  • Any other reasonable tasks necessary for you to carry out your role effectively and efficiently
