Affiliate Manager

As the Affiliate Manager, your role within Kindred Group is to take ownership of the affiliate portfolio assigned to you, introduce new affiliates to the program and work collaboratively with other Affiliate Managers, your Affiliate Team Lead and the Head of Affiliates. Doing so successfully will ensure that the Kindred Affiliates program leads the way in terms of performance, reputation and integrity within Kindred Group and the online gaming affiliate space.

Key accountabilities of the role are:

 

  • Manage and expand the existing affiliate portfolio
  • Regularly review affiliate acquisition activity to ensure it complies with relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Help create, plan and execute affiliate marketing acquisition, retention and reactivation campaigns to grow the affiliate portfolio
  • Monitor and analyse results of these campaigns, including weekly and monthly KPI reporting to your Affiliate Team Lead and other members of Kindred Group as required
  • Provide timely and constructive responses to inbound affiliate enquiries
  • Manage the monthly payment process for your affiliate portfolio and provide feedback on poorly performing accounts with suggestions about corrective actions to your Affiliate Team Lead
  • Help shape the affiliate budget with input from the local Country teams, other affiliate team members and your Affiliate Team Lead
  • Monitor the marketing spend of individual affiliates and your affiliate portfolio in line with agreed budget targets
  • Deliver clear, concise and reliable reporting on all activity to key stakeholders
  • Work on projects that improve existing processes and help drive innovation within the affiliate program
  • Collaborate with other Affiliate Managers to ensure local best practice approaches are implemented globally
  • Work on projects that may impact other areas of the business as agreed and directed by your Affiliate Team Lead or Head of Affiliates
  • Attend industry events and keep updated on industry trends that impact on the program and the business
  • Perform market and competitor program research as required
  • Any other reasonable tasks necessary for you to carry out your role effectively and efficiently

 

 

Work closely with the following teams:

 

  • Marketing Communications Manager to create email and social media communication plans that engage and delight our affiliate partners
  • Key Accounts Affiliate Manager to collaboratively ensure affiliate acquisition from these key accounts is delivered to agreed targets
  • Local Country teams to ensure all members are kept up to date with affiliate activities and that you are fully aware of what other acquisition and retention activity is happening in your market
  • Marketing Intelligence to optimise affiliate marketing performance and investment
  • Product Marketing teams to spread the word about our latest and greatest product features
  • Any other Kindred Group teams as and when required by the nature of your role

 

 

Your experience:

 

  • Understanding and interest of performance based and/or affiliate marketing
  • Online marketing experience, ideally from a customer-focused, high-transaction volume company
  • Organised, self-sufficient and self-motivated
  • Good communication skills (verbal, written and presentational); numerate with an understanding of cost control
  • Good sales, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Native level of English-language skills, other languages are a plus
  • At least two years of Gambling industry experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Ability to travel
