The role 

Continuous growth requires us to further strengthen the Malta Finance Department with an Accountant who will become an integral part of our efficient team. Apart from the month-end and day-to-day tasks, the chosen candidate will focus on system optimization and seeking continuous opportunities to automate processes. In addition, they will also be required to support the local finance team in several ongoing finance projects. Your role and responsibilities will grow over time, together with the development of existing processes and departmental needs. The candidate will be reporting directly to the Malta Assistant Financial Controller and working closely with legal, commercial, and other data reporting teams.



  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts under strict deadlines
  • Preparation of regulatory gaming taxes and payment thereof
  • Reconciling inter-company transactions
  • Review of month-end P&L and Balance Sheet reports at a trial balance level and ensure reconciliations are maintained and variances explained.
  • Preparation of local Financial statutory statements for all assigned Kindred entities
  • Supporting the local assistant financial controller to develop and seek improvements in current processes to increase efficiency and maintain accuracy
  • Supporting the local assistant financial controller with Group related projects and assist in developing and maintaining Internal Controls
  • Responsible for managing relationship and reporting with external auditors and other regulators
  • Payment approval for assigned Kindred entities
  • Provide ad hoc reports as required to the business


  • ACCA qualified and/or equivalent with experience of statutory accounts preparation
  • Proven professional experience of at least 3 years in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills
  • Strong desire and ability to develop, learn new skills and take on further responsibility
  • Demonstrate integrity and accountability

  • Experience of working within a large multi-national corporate environment with the ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical skills
  • iGaming Experience
